Started in June 2008, the Your Cookware Helper website, www.YourCookwareHelper.com, was created to offer a new point of view about cookware. It was the first to offer “Healthy Cookware” and “Dishwasher Safe” icons for each product line. It was also the first to openly discuss the health aspects of all cookware materials. After 3 years of being in production, I happily announce version 2 where I up the ante even more!

Besides a fresh new look and color scheme, in version 2 I put the focus on 2 areas not often seen on the Internet. First, I address the fact that pots and pans are for cooking. Second, I offer many ways cookware can be given as great gifts.
So many sites and stores talk about the technicals, like what it is coated with, how it is clad, handles, lids, etc. Those are important. But what is also important is what it does for our cooking. In the press release I use the example of how a stainless steel pot clad with aluminum just on the bottom will have a much harder time and require more from the cook when cooking thick oatmeal, as compared to an equal sized pot clad up the side walls. The difference is remarkable. There are many more instances where cookware makes a direct impact on why we buy the stuff – to cook.
People love getting cookware as gifts. Many times it is because we don’t want to spend the money on the good stuff ourselves! As gifts, they are well received. Version 2 of Your Cookware Helper offers great gift giving ideas.
Also announced in the version 2 release is the updated 2011 Cookware Guide. In this release I cover 2011 trends, cookware and cooking, exclusive content, and reprints of necessary information from the website. Most importantly is a newly updated 3 step process for selecting the right cookware. The 2011 Guide is free with registration.
I hope you enjoy the new updates.
